Database Conversion Engineer
- Create KB articles for every conversion, used by the sales team
- Read and interpret insurance company underwriting manuals
- Program insurance company rates and underwriting in Delphi
- Program rate and underwriting changes as required by insurance companies
- Compare old insurance company underwriting manuals to new ones to determine changes
- Research and debug errors or questions discovered by testing, tech support or clients
- Test all programming that you do for both underwriting changes and rates
- Create and use Excel spreadsheets to manually calculate rates to insure they are correct according to the insurance companies underwriting manuals
- Assist quality control by answering questions or helping them in rate calculations when discrepancies arise
- Review and test company changes made by fellow programmers
- Research on the web when necessary to insure information provided by companies is accurate
- Ability to read and debug code written by other programmers
Convert customer’s data to our Agency Management System. Maintain and enhance multiple projects written in many languages such as (C#, Delphi, VBA & SSIS). Assist in the creation of the Professional Services department.
Delphi Programmer
Key responsibility is to write clean, well-engineered code, properly commented, that adheres to the standards and policies within the insurance industry; translate companies requirements into technical specifications, work with testers to ensure systems function properly.

Provide prompt and courteous customer service in a call center. Assist installing and configuring home networks, wireless security; troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues over the phone, customer training and education on the proper operation of computers and network equipment. OPEN SOURCE EXPERIENCE
This project is a platform for offline maps, written in Python; it downloads maps from popular online services such as Yahoo, Bing, OpenStreetMap, and many more. It also provides integration with NMEA GPS receivers.
